taiwan visa from philipines passport holder?
hello good day!! i just read this website today and since i am not sure of this i just want to make sure that this is true. anyway i want to travel in taiwan by october for just tourist and just a couple of days only since im a student and i dont want to miss so much in school.if this site below is not true,can someone here tell me what are the requirements in applying tourist visa in taiwan.im a student and a philippines passport holder. Hi, I've visited taipei, and yes, they require travelling visa if you have philippines passport. You have to go in person: Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines Address 41F, Tower 1, RCBC Plaza, 6819 Ayala Avenue, Makati City 1200, Metro Manila, Philippines Phone (002-63-2) 8876688 Fax (002-63-2) 8877679 Hours of operation Monday ~ Friday, 08:45~11:30(Receiving time) 13:30~16:30(Dispatching time) Closed on Taiwan and Philippine Public Holidays Points to consider when applying for a visa: 1. Make sure you have another piece if ID that you can leave with the security guard at the entrance of the consulate 2. Bring your ticket or itinerary showing your departure out of Taiwan. Make sure your attire is presentable, no shorts, torn clothes, sandals etc. 3. Usual service is 3 business days and express is 1 business day. Note: this is after the application has been received. So in fact you drop off one day and can pick it up the next day. 4. Application fee is 1950 pesos - Rush service 1000 pesos 5. You must bring 2 passport photos with your application (there is a passport photo shop near the consulate. 6. Bring your ticket or itinerary showing your departure out of Taiwan. 7. You will need an employment authorization from the Council of Affairs if you are applying for a resident visa in order to get an ARC. 8. If you are applying for a tourist visa, you will need proof of financial support such as a bank account statement showing sufficient funds. Hope this helps.
