How do you know if you were placed on the waiting list for AID Summer 2011 in Taiwan?
I received a rejection letter from the AID Summer 2011 program, but I know there is a waiting list in case someone who was originally admitted suddenly cannot do the program anymore. Would the status on the "admission" page say "waitlisted"? Or would it say "reject" and then they would choose who to waitlist? AID Summer is a month-long summer program where student volunteers (usually high school students but also college students) teach English to underprivileged kids in Taiwan.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you were not accepted this year into the program. One of my friends last year signed up and was sent an email notifying that he was rejected. Therefore, I believe that it is safe to assume that you were not wait listed. However, don't lose hope! try again next year :)
