Needs help for a research paper about Homosexuality?
Hi there. I am a college student studying in Taiwan. I am right now doing this research paper about Bible vs. Homosexuality, and I want to know if there's any way that I can find any information online about heterosexual Christians, especially biblical scholars who are willing to stand up and speak for the gay people/ community, about their rights and everything? Any links or books or articles that I can find online would be very appreciated. Thanks for the help and answering the questions.

There is no Bible Vs Homosexuality. Many human behaviours are labeled as a sin. Its in fact the Bible Vs Humans. The problem is some people elect to ignore the parts of the bible that does not fit into their own life style yet they will list parts that suites them.

I am very experiencing with Christians Bible fellowship before and I am gay also I researched in the bible actually talking about gay and lesbian there is some of them in old and new testments they are not allowed homosexuality activies. therefore my theory Why God create us that many of lives today babies born with gay or lesbian so I believe that God himself create us in lust and sex in our human ways there is no need to listen what church told us that is very wrong in sexual sins. do not pay attention to them only God could judge us not people. you can link on the internet (a prayer for Bobby lifetime movies) go yahoo search and find what time what day you gonna watch it making me sad and crying those movies very interesting! good luck with your research :)

There is a book that I read 20 years ago that dealt with homosexuality in the Bible. It discussed Ruth and Naomi, lesbians in the Bible. And the gay relationship between King David and Jonathan. It points out that there were gay people in Biblical times but no one was bothered by them and most people would merely chuckle when they saw two same sex people holding hands. Being gay was not against Church doctrine until the Council of Trent when Darwinism and Homosexuality were deemed unacceptible in the Church. Basically it was MAN that determined that being gay was wrong ... it was never addressed by God. The Bible has 6 admonitions against frivolous gay sex but there are 166 warnings about frivolous hetero sex. Try to find the book by googling it. If you can't find it I might be able to uncover it if I dig through my shed. I used to have about 6 copies left, just before I moved. You can email me if you need me to find out the name and source. I am overstayed my visa in the USA, so I am barred entering again. I am in Taiwan. Can I travel to the UK?
I am overstayed my visa in the USA, so I am barred entering again. I am in Taiwan. Can I travel to the UK?
I was overstayed my student visa in the USA. Now I am back to my country, I am working here. My boss wants me to travel to the UK on a business trip. Can I travel? Or UK's and USA's immigrations services work together? For example, if you are barred entering the US, it means, you cannot enter UK as well?

No you cant, it's a big diffrence between europe and north america ;P

Yes you can. Infact you will find that when you land in the UK you will be offered housing and huge benefits and a British passport.

It could have been a problem if you would need to apply for a visa and would need to state that you are barred from entering the United States in your visa application. Do young people in Taiwan use Facebook alot?
Because I want to find some old friends but I don't think that many Taiwanese college students use Facebook. Do they use another social networking site? And also just because I want to look at some pretty girls for a change. Asian American girls are not as cute and they don't have big eyes. Thank you.

a fair amount of Taiwanese people use it. All my workmates and most of my former students are on it.

Add me to your FB...I am a college student and I used to study in a girls-only high school and it is one of the Top ones in Taiwan so I know a lot of pretty girls who are also good at studying and they are on my FB. BTW...almost every college student has a facebook account.

Yes. Many of my students tell me that they use Facebook, and a large percentage of them are college-aged girls! Good luck to you!

Facebook is the biggest waste of time in human history. I pity anyone who is addicted to Facebook and encourage them to seek medical help. Many Taiwanese people abuse Facebook and themselves.

Yes it is popular and my friends use it too. Hah, I have seen ALOT of cute Asian American girls (Chinese, Korean, Thai, Viet, you name it...) with big eyes to boot. I'm not sure what state you're in, but you need to move! Bay Area, Southern California, and NYC might ring a bell.

Before asking u guys the questions, let me tell u about my position now..I'm an Indonesian, and I'm now studying in Taiwan. What I'm asking is whether I need to pay fiscal or not if I go to Malaysia?Thanks before^^

what do you mean by fiscal? financial expenses for what? it doesnt make sense to me.

Hi there fellow Indonesian :) If your age is less than 21, you don't need to pay Indonesian fiscal tax when you exit Indonesia (to wherever). If your above that age but you don't want to pay fiscal, you need to show that you have the permanent resident card in Taiwan. However, to ensure the correct policy, you can ask this hotline of the Dirjen Pajak (tax directorate general): 021-500200.
