Needs help for a research paper about Homosexuality?
Hi there. I am a college student studying in Taiwan. I am right now doing this research paper about Bible vs. Homosexuality, and I want to know if there's any way that I can find any information online about heterosexual Christians, especially biblical scholars who are willing to stand up and speak for the gay people/ community, about their rights and everything? Any links or books or articles that I can find online would be very appreciated. Thanks for the help and answering the questions.

There is no Bible Vs Homosexuality. Many human behaviours are labeled as a sin. Its in fact the Bible Vs Humans. The problem is some people elect to ignore the parts of the bible that does not fit into their own life style yet they will list parts that suites them.

I am very experiencing with Christians Bible fellowship before and I am gay also I researched in the bible actually talking about gay and lesbian there is some of them in old and new testments they are not allowed homosexuality activies. therefore my theory Why God create us that many of lives today babies born with gay or lesbian so I believe that God himself create us in lust and sex in our human ways there is no need to listen what church told us that is very wrong in sexual sins. do not pay attention to them only God could judge us not people. you can link on the internet (a prayer for Bobby lifetime movies) go yahoo search and find what time what day you gonna watch it making me sad and crying those movies very interesting! good luck with your research :)

There is a book that I read 20 years ago that dealt with homosexuality in the Bible. It discussed Ruth and Naomi, lesbians in the Bible. And the gay relationship between King David and Jonathan. It points out that there were gay people in Biblical times but no one was bothered by them and most people would merely chuckle when they saw two same sex people holding hands. Being gay was not against Church doctrine until the Council of Trent when Darwinism and Homosexuality were deemed unacceptible in the Church. Basically it was MAN that determined that being gay was wrong ... it was never addressed by God. The Bible has 6 admonitions against frivolous gay sex but there are 166 warnings about frivolous hetero sex. Try to find the book by googling it. If you can't find it I might be able to uncover it if I dig through my shed. I used to have about 6 copies left, just before I moved. You can email me if you need me to find out the name and source.
